#ESNIbizaTrip is one of the most popular events that ESN Spain offers. This is a (inter)national event where almost all the Spanish sections’ Erasmus students are present. The Organization Committee (OC) also saves several places for international guests.

ESN Denmark’s Communication Manager, Bianka, who spent her Erasmus exchange in Valencia, attended this amazing trip.

#Day 0  (28 April)

The journey starts from Valencia, where the two Valencia sections were waiting for the other Spanish sections from Madrid, Barcelona, etc. We spent the night on the ferry; it took like more or less 7 hours to get to the island.

#Day 1 (29 April)

From the port of Ibiza, buses took us to our hotel. Everything happened according to the plans and we had like 1.5 hours to get ready before taking another boat to Formentera. There was a chance to rent cars, motors or bikes, but my friend and I just walked around the island. I have never seen such an incredible view in my life!

Then the first party of the night arrived. School party at Privilege that is the ‘world’s largest nightclub’ according to the Guinness Book of Records. The party was amazing, but back then we did not know how crazy the other parties will be. Various buses in different times were ready to bring us back to our comfy hotel rooms.

#Day 2 (30 April)

Until the afternoon we were sleeping and resting in our room / balcony. Around late afternoon everybody gathered around the pool and enjoyed the sun.

The second party was held at Es Paradis. The unique thing of the place is that around 4-5 am there is a water party.

#Day 3 (1 May)

My personal favorite. Early afternoon (2 pm) by bus the huge Ibiza team ended up at Benimussa Park. I felt like I was at a sensational festival. Pool, foam party, the best EDM tracks and the funniest people in the world. Unfortunately, we left around 6 or 7 pm in order to have enough time for preparation of the gig.

This night the ‘Best Global Club’ became the venue for the party. Space got awarded with this title at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005, 2006, 2012 and 2013. The theme for tonight was neon, where the people wore crazy colors and neon lights.

#Day 4 (2 May)

And no, we are not tired! My Belgian friend and I along some other people decided to invade the city with our Valencian coordinators. ESN en UV and ESN UPV got prepared about the historical monuments of the island and we could listen about the interesting facts either in English or in Spanish. After the guided tour, we had free time and discovered the cozy, little streets of Ibiza.

Last party of the trip, where we dressed as hippies and had a blast at the disco called Eden.

#Day 5 (3 May)

Basically, we packed our luggages in the morning then with the buses left to the port, where the enormous ferry was waiting for us. Everybody was trying to sleep on the shipboard during the way back to Valencia. It was like 9 – 10 pm when the ferry docked in the port of Valencia.

All in all, it was a fascinating trip with great people and good mood. The OC and the Valencian coordinators did a great job. Don’t miss this opportunity of visiting Ibiza! Perhaps next year I will also return…
